FAE Tutoring and Intervention Center provides academic support for K-12 students in Reading, Math, Language Arts, ACT Prep, SAT Prep and AP Tutoring. The center also provides behavioral support using our signature Restorative Learning Model. Center Interventionists are state certified in K-12 academic subjects, ESOL, Special Education and RLM Credentialed.
FAE Tutoring Center Interventionists are highly trained and state credentialed educators who have worked with students of all ages and abilities to improve student grades, mastery of grade level or content standards, organizational skills, and study habits. Interventionists are trained and passionate about working with students struggling academically and infuse research-based strategies to inspire a love for learning. Tutoring is offered in reading, writing and math daily. Special programs, clinics and camps are offered in science and social studies quarterly. Tutoring can be scheduled individually or in small group.
Students may participate in SAT and ACT Prep sessions to maximize their success. Instructors will instruct on key strategies proven to help boost SAT and ACT performance.
Using our specially designed Restorative Learning Model Educational Therapy, students will develop behavioral management skills through individual and group therapy sessions. Session cycles are scheduled in accordance with Georgia Multi-Tiered System of Support recommended time frames for data monitoring and response to intervention reporting (Ex: 6 week sessions, two hours per week). Sessions will be facilitated by RLM Certified Practitioners.
Favor Academy offers several programs for students to strengthen their knowledge in science and social studies in fun and engaging ways. Families can opt to have their students participate in summer camps, holiday camps, learning clinics and much more. In addition, to support post-secondary career, higher education and military planning, Favor Academy offers programs, groups and sessions for high school students to ensure a smooth transition from graduation to life readiness.
High school students off track for graduation can participate teacher facilitated credit recovery courses. FAE Interventionists will utilize a state approved online learning system to facilitate HS required courses that are aligned to state standards. Interventionist support will help students deepen knowledge in standards and access in-person academic and technical support to ensure successful completion of each course. Course offerings include core courses, and limited electives, required for graduation high school. Begins Fall 2024!
FAE Tutoring Center Interventionist include state certified special educators and skilled behavior support professionals. Students with IEPs will have access to expanded learning opportunities in the least restrictive learning environment. Parents will also have access to monthly parent university sessions to learn about rules, regulations and laws supporting students with disabilities. The FAE Team welcomes the opportunity to support students with Section 504 Learning Plans and Individualized Education Plans.
