Youth violence is a critical challenge. The Restored to Restore Program is an innovative, cross-system strategy designed to disrupt the trajectory toward violent behavior and improve outcomes for youth aged 12-19 with histories of violence or those at high risk.
We move beyond traditional methods by holistically connecting mental health, academic performance, and violence intervention in a structured, judgment-free environment.
Successful intervention requires both identifying risk factors and providing sustained access to mental health support. Our program directly addresses the complex relationship between violence exposure and adverse mental health outcomes.
The Restored to Restore curriculum is grounded in evidence-based behavioral therapies and Restorative Justice practices to significantly reduce violent incidents and impulsive behaviors.
Delivered through 20 structured sessions over 8-10 months, the program is comprised of three core elements:
We partner with local schools, juvenile justice agencies, and community organizations to ensure our targeted interventions are culturally relevant and responsive. Our long-term sustainability is ensured through the Restorative Learning Model Practitioner Training (Train the Trainer model), which empowers local educators and mentors to embed restorative practices within existing community systems.
Our goal is a measurable reduction in violent incidents, improved mental health outcomes, and increased student engagement, setting a new standard for youth violence prevention. Participants in R2R are referred through agencies, schools and directly. Interested students, parents/guardians can join our next cohort by completing the form below:
