Denise Alsobrooks-Wright began her career in Macon, Georgia as a special education teacher at Northeast High School in 2004. Throughout her years as an educator, Mrs. Alsobrooks-Wright has served as a Special Education Teacher, Special Education Lead Teacher, Instructional Support Teacher, Coordinator for Special Education and Director of Student Support for Favor Academy of Excellence, Inc.
Her primary responsibility is to ensure that students with special needs receive the support they need to thrive in school. Denise also plans, develops, directs, implements, and monitors all programs and procedures relative to local, state, and federal special education laws and regulations.
Denise's commitment to ensure 100% compliance is a reputation she is constantly known for. On her spare time, she enjoys partaking in 5K’s, traveling, gardening, relaxing at the beach, playing spades, and spending time with family. She is married to Derek Wright and they have two fur babies, Dewey and Delta.
Natalie Hutchins has 23 years of experience in education and community development. Her primary roles and responsibilities have been to oversee federal grant budgets upwards of $55M annually and the development of the Consolidated LEA Improvement Plan (CLIP) and comprehensive needs assessments for the districts she has served. She enjoys marrying the politics and the practicality of State and Federal Laws to seek relevant opportunities to fit the district's needs. As a part of the Favor Transition Academy team, she aims to bring her wealth of experience to meet the needs of some of Georgia’s most underrepresented, justice-involved families by bridging the gaps in equity and access to high-quality education.
