Tod and Zack were two strangers whose poor choices landed them in the Young Juvenile Detention Center. Follow along as Travis journeys through his teenage years, encountering twists and turns that leave him believing his fate is sealed in failure. As each event challenges the lessons he learned from his parents, Travis experiences new emotions that leave him struggling with depression, frustration, and even violence. As fate and destiny collide, one event shifts the trajectory of Travis’ future and forever changes his outlook on life. Travis is redirected from Trial to Triumph.
Curriculum Focus: Autism, Social Skill Development
Kyle recognized he was different from his peers at an early age. It wasn't until he was eight years old that he learned his differences were tied to his Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnoses. As Kyle began to increase his understanding of Autism and how it impacted the way he interacted with his peers, he learned to embrace the uniqueness he possessed. Open to change, Kyle unlocked new and comfortable ways of interacting with his peers, leading him to limitless possibilities.
Curriculum Focus: Human Trafficking, Emotions, etc.
Mya's had the perfect life. Popular, beautiful, smart, and more friends than anyone could want. Following her recent homecoming queen crowning, Mya was the envy of the entire cheerleading team. She believed life couldn't get any better the day Omar noticed her. Their whirlwind love quickly became a nightmare she couldn't escape. When the therapist asked her to recount the events that led to her hospital stay, Mya realized life would never again be the same for her.
